We meet as often as somebody is willing to develop a program, at various locations.

Coaching: What It Really Is (and Not), How It Impacts OD, and Why You Want More of It.

At our March program Jim Smith, PCC, will define coaching AND untangle it from several other approaches to employee and leadership development.  We will review ROI statistics on coaching (it's a good investment!), confirm the primary tools of the Art and Science of good coaching, then consider how to introduce, improve, leverage and otherwise use coaching in your organization(s).

Coaching -- as a profession and as an internal corporate practice -- is still widely misunderstood.  In fact, the term "coaching" is often misused, abused, and applied to practices that are decidedly NOT coaching, thus giving coaching a bad reputation in some circles.

As one of the foundational tenets of coaching is that the client is Whole, Creative, and Resourceful, this will be an interactive program that pulls collective wisdom from the audience to enhance overall learning.  And who knows... there may even be some live coaching!

Jim Smith is The Executive Happiness Coach®, a global provider of executive coaching, and personal and workplace transformation services.  His passion is to create a Happier world and workplace, one Leader at a time.

Drawing on his 20+ years of executive experience as well as 50+ years as a Human Being, Jim has coached leaders from 27 countries and six continents.  He works with leaders to better balance their lives, dramatically improve their leadership skills, and build more positive workplace cultures.
