Coaching: What It Really Is (and Not), How It Impacts OD, and Why You Want More of It.

At our March program Jim Smith, PCC, will define coaching AND untangle it from several other approaches to employee and leadership development.  We will review ROI statistics on coaching (it's a good investment!), confirm the primary tools of the Art and Science of good coaching, then consider how to introduce, improve, leverage and otherwise use coaching in your organization(s).

Coaching -- as a profession and as an internal corporate practice -- is still widely misunderstood.  In fact, the term "coaching" is often misused, abused, and applied to practices that are decidedly NOT coaching, thus giving coaching a bad reputation in some circles.

As one of the foundational tenets of coaching is that the client is Whole, Creative, and Resourceful, this will be an interactive program that pulls collective wisdom from the audience to enhance overall learning.  And who knows... there may even be some live coaching!
